Mike Ashley Puts Ten Top Earners Up For Sale

The Guradian reported today that Mike Ashley who is desperate to reduce the cash flow out of the club and he has put 10 of the top earners up for sale. Details have been circulated to clubs with invitations to make transfer bid, now. Included is Obafemi Martins and Fabricio Coloccini. These are players who earn over £50,000 pounds a week.

It is not a surprise really when you think the wage bill is vastly over the level that is sustainable, the only question is why did he not do this on May 26th, when it was obvious that a revamp and rethink was required.

Darlington Tickets On Sale from 6th July

Tickets for Darlington's pre-season games at the Northern Echo Darlington Arena will be on sale from Monday, 6th July at the club's main ticket office. Tickets will be priced at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.
