Robert Lee: Don't Mess Alan Shearer About

Talking to The Chronicle Lee Said:

"I think at the moment he is waiting to see what happens. However, if it drags on for too long and somebody came in and offered a job elsewhere, he might go. It would be tragic to see him be a success elsewhere when Newcastle had him well within their grasp. Of course, the deal would have to be right, but at the end of the day he wants a crack at management and he would be very good at it.

The Alan Shearer situation is frustrating. For so long everybody has wanted to see Alan as boss. They have clamoured for him to do it for so long. Now that he actually wants to do it, nobody at the club can get their act together and give him the job! It needs to be sorted out quickly”

Nolan On Fans

Talking to The Chronicle:

“You know how fantastic they are. They supported us throughout – they were absolutely brilliant (last season). I have no problems with them. They have been behind us even in games where we have been in a bit of a sticky situation.”

“As soon as people know you play for Newcastle, they want to talk about the fans and the stadium. That just comes naturally.”

Nolan brought from Bolton last January has still o iwin over the fans. Let's hope he puts in the type of perforamnces this coming season that Batty and speed, when they were out of favour.
